Microsoft 365 Support

Microsoft 365 support for Sydney businesses

Get help managing the accounts, email and shared files your team uses every day. Adroit Support provides Microsoft 365 administration as part of managed IT support and project work, with a team based in Sydney.

Support for the way your team uses Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 can be one part of your IT support or the focus of a specific project. We start with your current setup and the problem you need to solve.

User accounts and licences

Keep account changes organised as people join, move roles or leave. Discuss licence assignments, access permissions and which administrative tasks you want your support provider to manage.

Email and Outlook support

Get help investigating mailbox access, Outlook setup and email issues. We clarify the affected users and symptoms before agreeing the work needed.

Teams and shared files

Discuss support for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, including access, sharing and common collaboration problems. The right approach depends on how your team works.

Account security

Review sign-in protection and administrative access alongside your wider security needs. Security features and policy options depend on your Microsoft subscription and environment.

Microsoft 365 changes and migrations

Plan a defined project for email, accounts or shared files. Agree what will move, access responsibilities, checks and a handover before making changes.

Ongoing administration

Include Microsoft 365 administration in a managed support arrangement, or request help with a defined task. Confirm covered users, support channels and work included in your proposal.

A clear process before work starts

  1. Describe the need. Tell us which users, applications and work locations are affected, and whether this is an incident, ongoing support or a planned change.
  2. Agree scope and access. Confirm the work, authorised contacts, required permissions and any existing provider responsibilities.
  3. Plan and check the change. For a project, agree timing, staff communication, validation and handover. For ongoing support, agree how requests are raised and prioritised.

Your business should know who controls its Microsoft 365 tenant and who is authorised to make changes. Use our IT provider handover checklist when moving support between providers.

What to have ready for a quote

  • Approximate number of users and the Microsoft 365 plans you use.
  • The applications and business tasks that need support.
  • Current support arrangements and the main issues you want resolved.
  • Any planned migration, new office or staffing changes.
  • Support hours, onsite needs and security or backup requirements.

You do not need to send passwords or private customer data through the enquiry form. We can discuss an appropriate way to arrange authorised access after scoping the work.

How Microsoft 365 support is priced

The quote depends on the users, environment and work required. Ongoing administration, a one-off migration and assistance with an isolated issue need different scopes.

Confirm whether Microsoft subscriptions, backup, security tooling, onsite visits and project work are included or charged separately. Ask about support hours and response targets as well as the monthly fee. Our managed IT cost comparison explains what to check in a proposal.

Security and staff changes need a plan

Multifactor authentication adds a second verification method to account sign-ins. The policy options available depend on the subscription and environment; see Microsoft's MFA guidance.

When an employee leaves, plan access changes and the handling of their business email and files before removing the account. Microsoft's employee departure guidance covers that sequence. We can discuss these tasks as part of your administration requirements.

Common questions

We can discuss support for an existing Microsoft 365 environment. We first review the problem, current administration arrangements and required access, then agree a suitable scope.

Managed support and defined project work are both available. We can also discuss ad hoc assistance. The right arrangement depends on whether you need ongoing administration or help with a particular task.

Inclusions vary by proposal. Confirm Microsoft subscriptions, backup arrangements, security tools and project work separately so you know what the support fee covers.

Yes. We can discuss a handover covering tenant administration, authorised access, licences and support responsibilities. Gather the relevant account and provider information before the change.
